"Waiting"
Each day we pass without a glance
Waiting for time to give us a chance
You don't know me
I imagine you getting down on one knee
Can't see your face
We're blindfolded in this chase
I dream of your smile
Trying to get through the while
Being alone can be tough
But thinking of the future's enough
To get me through each day
Envisioning you is gray
You will be a permanent fixture
It's just hard to see the whole picture
Do we pass each other in our cars?
Did you know I wish on stars?
What time do you go to bed?
Is your favorite color red?
The answers to these I don't yet know
This will help our faith grow
I guess we'll just have to wait
For a little thing called fate.
